2026 Virginia Trench Safety Summit

The 2026 Trench Safety Summit is developed and delivered through collaborative partnership between the VOSH Institute for Learning & Outreach, Virginia Department of Fire Programs, Roanoke Fire Emergency Management Services, Western Virginia Water Authority, and Roanoke Gas Company. Topics covered will include tabulated data, competent person requirements, along with trench side demonstrations including vacuum truck, proper shoring, and rescue operations.
