DESCRIPTION:The 2026 Trench Safety Summit is developed and delivered through collaborative partnership between the VOSH Institute for Learning & Outreach\, Virginia Department of Fire Programs\, Roanoke Fire Emergency Management Services and Western Virginia Water Authority. Topics covered will include tabulated data\, competent person requirements\, along with trench side demonstrations including vacuum truck\, proper shoring\, and rescue operations. \nNo cost to attend but registration is required and opens in January 2026.
